Sammi is the tutor students want in their corner when math or science starts to feel overwhelming. With a background in advanced chemistry, electrocatalysis research, and award-winning teaching at Boston College, she knows how to turn tough STEM concepts into clear, manageable steps.
Since 2019, Sammi has helped 200+ students build stronger foundations, better study systems, and more confidence across algebra, math, chemistry, physics, ISEE, SHSAT, SAT/ACT prep, applications, and academic coaching. She is especially good at spotting the real reason a student feels stuck, then building a plan that actually fits how they learn.

Serena is the tutor families trust when a student needs calm, strategic support in math, biology, or test prep. Her background in neuroscience, applied math and statistics, and medical training gives her a distinctive ability to understand how students think, where their process breaks down, and how to help them move forward with confidence.
She has been tutoring since 2017, helping students strengthen algebra, math through calculus, biology, ISEE, SHSAT, and SAT/ACT prep. Her sessions are especially helpful for students who know more than their scores show, need better pacing, or freeze when the clock starts running.
